We make businesses agent-ready.
AI agents are replacing how customers find, compare, and choose businesses. When someone asks ChatGPT for a recommendation, your business needs to be the answer. We build the systems that make that happen.
Tristan Cezair
Founder, Northcast
Tristan is a creative technologist, filmmaker, and AI strategist with more than two decades at the intersection of storytelling, emerging technology, and digital production.
His career spans visual effects, immersive media, and interactive technology — from broadcast graphics to VR and 360° storytelling to AI-assisted creation. His work has received a Canadian Screen Award for immersive documentary, a W3 Award for Visual Effects, and international recognition across experimental formats. In 2019 he was featured in the National Computer History Museum for his work on computer-to-human-to-computer interface.
Tristan began researching AI in 2019, starting with generative adversarial networks (GANs). In 2023 he built ORBI — a mixed reality AI assistant that lived as a floating orb in passthrough mode on Meta Quest. In 2024 he piloted an agentic patient-tracking system for a dental network, using a local LLM to run and sort queries autonomously. Both projects were grant-funded by IRAP and NSERC in Ontario.
That hands-on AI research became the foundation for Northcast. Tristan recognized the shift: businesses are no longer found through blue links on Google alone. They're discovered through AI assistants, large language models, and intelligent recommendation systems. Northcast combines content production, AI strategy, and digital infrastructure to help businesses remain visible, trustworthy, and discoverable in an AI-driven world.

Immersive Media
Pioneered 360° filmmaking and VR experiences — spatial storytelling about science, nature, and human experience. Photogrammetry, Unreal Engine, scientific visualization.
AI Research Begins
Started AI research with generative adversarial networks (GANs). Featured in the National Computer History Museum for work on computer-to-human-to-computer interface. IRAP and NSERC grant-funded.
ORBI & Canadian Screen Award
Built ORBI — a mixed reality AI assistant (a floating orb you could talk to in passthrough mode on Meta Quest). Recognized with a Canadian Screen Award for immersive documentary and a W3 Award for Visual Effects.
Agentic AI Pilot
Piloted an agentic patient-tracking system for a dental network — local LLM running and sorting queries autonomously. IRAP grant-funded. The playbook that became Northcast.

How we work
Problem first, always
We never lead with how we solve things. We lead with the problem you're facing. If you don't have the problem, you don't need us.
Automate the busywork
If your team does it more than twice, it should be automated. Payroll should go to the work that actually grows your business.
Technology multiplies creativity
20+ years in film, VFX, and immersive media. We approach technology not as a replacement for creativity, but as a multiplier for it.
3 clients per month
We cap new client onboarding to keep quality high. Every project gets senior-level attention from day one.
Systems, not just tools
We don't just build tools. We build operating systems for businesses in the age of AI agents — visibility, automation, and intelligence, all connected.
